NaBloPoMo: Jumping on the Bandwagon

Hello ladies!

Look’s like it’s going to be a triple threat as I jump into the NaBloPoMo 2013 whatever thingy-ma-bob. It sounds like a plan and I’m excited to start!

BUT WAIT!

First, a quick recap.

November 1st: My Mother’s Birthday Party! Helena came to help out and we served food and ran around chasing after about two dozen small children. It was a lot of fun and I ended up passing out from exhaustion while watching Monsters University – which is a GREAT movie by the way.

November 2nd: Supposed to go to a photo-shoot for the school paper  but, I ended up sleeping in. I actually fell asleep on a small child, but that’s life. Helena slept over too – although I didn’t realize it at the time. We woke up late, watched movies, fell asleep while watching movies, ate food. We were lazy peeples. (I feel like I should add, that this word, is intentionally misspelled.)

November 3rd: I went to Mormon Church! (No, I’m not Mormon.) I also saved the life of a baby that was so excited to see me he almost crawled straight into a pew. I picked him up before he hit his head and then looked guilty like I was trying to steal him. I was not.

November 4th: Woke up knowing it was going to be a bad day. Finally posted this thing, The Problem with Having Really Awesome Friends.

November 5th: I hung out with some cool people and had great laughs about nothing in particular. I went to “hula” with Helena. Meaning, we snuck out to get sushi and talk about religion – something about that sushi place makes us always want to talk about our beliefs in the afterlife. Helena wants to laze on a cloud, I want an epic battle between good and evil. It’s all relative.

November 6th: I got to spend a good two hours talking to friends about how stupid we were as teenagers. I also convinced them all to come to improv class on Friday! Grabbed dinner with my good friend at a cool new udon place. Posted something funny, Laugh at the Past, Share Stories, Fling Panties.

November 7th: Oh, hey! That’s TODAY! And today has been great. I totally owned a presentation on Mormonism (that’s why I went to the church, duh) and then kicked ass in my other classes by being my smart-ass-self. I’m currently chillin’ at the student center, where I work, for a bit before heading off to debate practice and then going to the arts district to meet Ramona and Helena. We’re going to snare a DSLR and take some rad photos of the graffiti before going to a poetry slam where your’s truly is competing! I’ve been pimping it out all week and am super stoked that people are going to show up to watch me.

Check back in tomorrow because we will probably all have some tales of tonight!
