Tomorrow marks the 5th anniversary that my 16 year old self agreed to “go out” with Peter. He sent me a rushed text message in US History class, to which I responded across the room with a smile and nod.

Such a journey we have had since. We’ve grown up a little and encountered serious life decisions, personality shifts, and changes. Problems have come up here and there, I’m not gonna lie. But overall I’m happy to have him I’m by life. He is gradually becoming more and more like the man I knew he could be and seeing him comfortable in his own skin makes me so proud. I am proud of him as he is with me and together we’ll continue to lift each other up to achieve our every goals.
