Mediocrity: A Lack of Inspiration

I have so many theories and concepts trapped in my head, a bundle of energetic anticipation. They’re all fighting to break out. And, being that it’s NaBloPoMo and I should be uploading a new post every day, choosing from amongst the chaos should be simple. Pick one and roll with it.

Talk about how to measure your self-worth.

Talk about how tricky being single is.

Talk about same-sex marriage equality and basic human rights.

Talk about the Friend Zone.

Talk about letting go of people who were once important to you.

Talk about how relationships change, how being a best friend turns into being nothing but memories.

So many topics to discuss. And I’m blessed to have the opportunity to discuss them all. And, as much as I want to start up a post and type away at a zillion words a minute, I simply lack the motivation to do so. Without the fiery passion for words, without the inspiration to really create, my post will be nothing but robotic and mechanical. It won’t make you feel anything, really. Because how can I stir another’s feelings when I can’t even ignite my own?

That being said, I apologize for my NaBloPoMo posts for the future. Until inspiration really strikes, you’ll be left with nothing but a mediocre post (at best). And that’s by my own mediocre standards.
